Time runs so quickly.
Spending money has never been so difficult. To ensure that every penny counts. Through the kindness of donors we have a possibility of providing aid to those in need. Trying to ensure that we get the best outcomes with the money provided is not as easy as you would think. It feels like a great responsibility.
We will consult with others and will make a choice. We hope it will be a good one. Many thanks J.
And we continue to be allowed to do the work we do here. Today we were able to share info in the refugee centre re various options to make a new life elsewhere. It was funny, but totally normal, that our table consisted of four donated washing machines which will be installed in the centre. Trust pilot reviews to follow:). The Ukraine flag and English together on washing machines in a refugee centre. Go figure. Not forgotten, not alone...
Also the English lessons were so much fun.... I love the work they put into the lessons. They are not easy. And they try. Look closely at the the teacher....all action...
Finally we met with A. A medic, working with a volunteer organisation here in Lviv. She shared much historical information regarding the history of Ukraine. Both the good and the not so good. The history of a nation is never just one story. And we will continue to learn, but also challenge.
As I finish this blog, the air raid siren goes off. Someplace and somewhere in this beautiful country someone will be In mortal danger.
