After the aid runs, the everyday impinges...
Today, back in Lviv we did the ordinary things that people do. Fiona visited the dentist, and her day was made by learning she has a tooth infection, and needs root canal treatment.
I had to visit a chiropodist to have some work done.... I won't go into details.....
Then we needed to secure our apartment for another month.
We did our washing. This, like having a shower is always a gamble....you never know when the electricity will go off. In fact it went off, a few minutes after having a shower.
Here it's down to -5°C. We think of all the people here in Ukraine who tonight will have no electricity or water. I wish we could do more.
