A day off... nearly...
And we wake up with our " day off" We have found out that here there is no such thing. Being here is all encompassing.
So this morning we were In the food tent catching up with colleagues on the fruit section. At the same time trying to source suitcases that seem to be desperately needed.
Next we were at a demonstration in Krakow. Ukrainians singing their songs and anthems... we took videos but beyond us how to put them on here...but believe us it was emotional.
At the same time we met a woman and her child who we have arranged to take to Lviv on Friday, working out routes, setting off at 2am...on Friday. She was Trawden bound, but with time and consideration she decided to go back to Ukraine. To what is hers and with what she knows. A special thanks to the sponsors who gave her the time to make the right decision for her family.....
And working out how we will get back...
And then whether, when we return from our short break in England, if we should be based in Lviv to be of most use?
Finally on our day off, we meet 4 women from Holland, specialist renal nurses on a break here, who could help on a situation with a family whose son has kidney problems, and they are now involved. However, up till they met us had no idea as to how to get involved. We have now given them contacts. And now they have the opportunity to be involved. If they want to be.
This Is our day off.
