More community support...

It's heartening to learn about the level of support for Ukraine in other parts of the UK. I'm staying with my Mum for a couple of days in Upton on Severn, a riverside town in Worcestershire. There is a couple here who have been doing something similar to us, but in a different part of Poland. They volunteered for a month at Camp Ostrada, which has 150 unaccompanied Ukrainian children. They have also helped to settle families in the Upton area under the Homes for Ukraine scheme.

Upton Baptist Church is supporting these efforts and has raised funds for the camp, and is encouraging local employers to offer work and even people to donate bikes!
