And so......

today was our last English lesson. I never try to show my emotion but today has been difficult. We say goodbye for now to people that have been so much a part of our lives in our time here. We don't have to name them but they are deep in our hearts. To you we send our love and appreciation. Your help is never taken for granted.

We still try to link families and, even at this late stage, we are trying to link a 76 year old woman and her daughter to a sponsor in England. We need others to help us achieve this. May it all work.

The later afternoon was spent with a doctor, passionate about her Ukrainian country and statehood, discussing and trying to work out how this conflict ends. A way of respecting both cultures here.... because for better or worse there are two.....think Northern Ireland and make it 5 times worse. And then try to unravel that.
How will you find reconcilation when you are being bombed?

And so tonight we think of this church we went inside...a history going back 8 centuries....this country filed with horror and beauty....let us hope that beauty wins ....
