A journey.....

that started in the cold gray drizzle of Lviv at 05:30 and finished at 21:30 in the rain, much further East and closer to the conflict. A posse of vans, 4 in total, driven by 8 volunteer drivers.
It has to be one of the hardest one day journey/driving we have ever made. Some of the roads were just not there.... diversions led us down unmade roads with enormous craters and potholes, as the rain came pouring down. I have driven in some challenging situations in my life, but today was hard. However all the aid is nearer it's destination, and there really is a lot of it
Tomorrow is another early start so the blog will be short.

We have also realised how expensive these runs are. You don't see the big organisations doing them, except for maybe World Central Kitchen. They really rely on individuals who have decided to try and make a difference.
