Halloween in Ukraine...

... for us - loading boxes of winter clothing, destined for a village that has been all but destroyed by Russian bombing. The main load consists of bags of plaster, cement, etc, to help rebuild the village. We're also taking two wood burning stoves that have been donated by the Polish aid organisations, Krakow to Ukraine and Parcels For Ukraine, whose van we are driving. These will be vital during the cold winter months ahead, with predicted power cuts.

And we are taking incontinence products for disabled adults to a voluntary organisation in Kyiv; we'll be taken to visit some of the families.
Several agencies are cooperating to make this aid run possible, including the warehouse in Lviv and MAD Foundation. Trawden is helping too. There's us for a start!  And we are still receiving some donations that will contribute, along with other kind donations, to buying more wood burning stoves and other essential items. We leave first thing tomorrow and will be away for 3 days.

If anyone is able to make a donation
1. Open PayPal and, when asked for name of payee or email, enter trawden4ukraine@hotmail.com.

2. Use the collection box in Trawden community shop. Today we were sent recent donations of about £37.
