Travelling across Ukraine again...

... now that the van is fixed, we'll be leaving first thing tomorrow to complete three separate aid drops and pick up another load of stoves. We had to make another journey across Lviv to the warehouse to reload the van this afternoon, which made for a long day.

The first photo is of a mural in Rivne on our last trip.

The photo below is of my great nephew, Theo, on his third birthday. The words on the T-shirt translate as, "Good evening, we are with Ukraine." We are thinking that it will be important to show support in any way possible for Ukraine, not only here, but in the UK and other countries that have accepted refugees, throughout the coming winter.

Ukraine’s deputy prime minister, Iryna Vereshchuk, has warned refugees living abroad not to return home until the spring amid mounting fears over whether Ukraine’s damaged energy infrastructure can survive the winter, with a third of its energy sector compromised. If they heed this advice there will be many Ukrainians who fled the war when it began, who, after the winter, will have been away from their home country and their families for more than a year. They will need all the support and understanding we can offer.
