White van man ...

I've had many careers over the course of my life; turning into a delivery driver in Ukraine was not one that I had ever envisaged....and yet here we are. In collaboration with a Polish aid supporter, supplying the van and aid for orphanages, and a warehouse in Lviv requiring items to go to the eastern front, we will set off again tomorrow, on another journey, delivering aid. As I got out of the van at the end of the day, a Ukrainian man came up to me and thanked me for what we were doing for Ukraine.

The first photo was at the aid warehouse, which states how long the war has gone on.

Contacts and aid relationships have to be fostered here. There is a lot of mistrust, given that a lot of aid goes missing. We turn up with a van and ask, say, a warehouse to fill the van with aid to deliver....they don't know us from Adam. It takes  time to build this confidence.
But the good thing is, we have a full van again and, hopefully, in our very small way, we are supporting Ukraine.
