Bad news and good news...

.....so the van has some major repairs to get it back on the road. Even though the organisation, Wheels for Victory, will not charge for labour, the parts may put it beyond economical repair. We await the cost of parts. The repair in any case will take up to 2 weeks.

The good news is that there is another van available, that has been offered to us by the Ukrainian organisation mentioned above, which we will look at tomorrow. This is an extremely generous offer. We were also given a major donation of aid, to use as we see fit by the organisation UK4UA.
It was with great interest that were also kindly shown round a business that makes individual hand made ornamens, for example on Xmas trees, using eco materials and recycled products. We were shown each individual process. Very labour intensive and skilled. The photos best show them.
With enforced time on our hands, we spent quite a lot of it planning our next aid drop, as well as looking around the city of Ternopil, which we really like. Tomorrow we are back on the road, hopefully picking up some more aid. It felt good having an easier day.
If anyone is able to make a donation:
1. Open PayPal and, when asked for name of payee or email, enter trawden4ukraine@hotmail.com.

2. Use the collection box in Trawden community shop. This probably remains a challenge, given distance for some. :)

Thank you.
