On the road again...
This time to the Odesa area. First stop, Ternopil, where Shaun of UK4UA had dropped off some aid for us. This aid is primarily donated in Wales. Some Incredible, sensitive items, like the so- called hand-knitted trauma teddies and hand-knitted children's blankets to add to the usual aid we take.
We were also able to collect the generators we were given, following an appeal on Radio Lancashire. These generators went to our house in Trawden, via Fi's mum in Upton on Severn to her brother in Chippenham, where they were collected by Shaun and delivered to Ukraine, where we picked them up. We have another full load.
As Fi said yesterday, winter has finally arrived and the driving conditions are challenging.
Sometimes I get sent photos from my friends in Sardinia, and I think how different my life is now.Fi, at supper tonight, said that there is nowhere she would rather be than here in Ukraine, just now. Says it all, really.
