On the road again

We have started our next aid trip, ovenighting in Khmelnytskyi in our usual small hotel, where the manager now recognises us as his "English friends."

We have a van load of aid, partly thanks to Yaroslav (pictured below), the manager of Coza Dereza, a Ukrainian company, based in Ternopil, that makes authentic crafts and clothing out of natural materials. Yaroslav has lent us one of his company vans to double as an aid vehicle, whilst the Polish aid van, Bohumila, is being fixed by the mechanics of Yaroslav's charity, "Wheels of Victory," in the Mitsubishi garage.
The aid in the van is thanks to Shaun, UK4UA, pictured centre right below, and the volunteer community in Wales and elsewhere, including Australia, which is a major donor. Thanks to UK4UA we have clothes, blankets, wet wipes and incontinence products for adults, which we'll take to Kyiv region tomorrow.
The van was packed by Ludmyla, who works in the Mitsubishi garage and coordinates the humanitarian aid that arrives there. We were very grateful to her as Bob is still recovering from COVID and not feeling up to par yet. Still, it feels good to be able to support again in our own small way.
