We never forget the loss this country has had to suffer

...at the hands of the Russian invaders. Our thoughts are with them and their familiies. We went for a walk in a park following our aid drop, and saw the memorial to those who have died. There were far too many photos. It's a poignant reminder of those who have sacrificed all. The sadness is that there will be more. But the fight goes on, as it should.

The aid drop itself was successfully completed. We delivered the much needed medical aid to a hospital in Dnipro. Again, an effort across countries. Supplied by the Italians, sourced and stored by our Polish colleagues and friends, and delivered by two English volunteers from Trawden.
We have an app on our phone that warns us of imminent air raids and shellings. It has a serious intent, but the voice is of the Star Wars actor, Mark Hamill....( Luke Skywalker)...the shelling one is quite amusing.... "Proceed to the nearest shelter. I know I'm not your father, but sometimes you have to do something that is requested of you." The app has been going non stop while we have been here in Dnipro.

We were able to spend a short time by the river. So impressive and quiet. It's hard to imagine, at times, the death and destruction that goes on here at the hands of the invaders.
