Admin day in Odesa...

Since this morning, we have been liaising with Ukrainian, Polish, English and Welsh volunteers regarding:
An aid run we are planning to communities in need in Kherson on Wednesday.
A warehouse in Lviv with an urgent request to get a generator to Kherson.
A request for help with transport of aid from a warehouse near Vienna to Ukraine - this for our Polish friends!
Receipt of some generous donations and ensuring they go where they are most needed.
Liaising with a Welsh charity that is raising money for children in the Kherson area. We're trying to find out if there is a centre for children with disabilities in Kherson, or if there any orphanages that need support.
Delivery of water sterilisation tablets from the UK to Kherson.
Plans to visit the maternity hospital in Kherson, and take some aid for new mothers and their babies.
Transportation of aid from Ternopil to us in Odesa.

It's been hard to keep track of it all. In fact, at one time, our aid from Ternopil was going to Uman instead of Odesa! And we don't really know when it's going to arrive. Sometimes things get lost in translation. There is a relatively small number of us volunteers, here and abroad, working very hard and doing the best we can to support Ukraine. Слава Україні!

Near the end of the day I feel a bit like this cat in our local market, where we went this morning, a long time ago...
