Hopscotch and a sandwich.....

Today was a teaching day. Again the morning in the UNICEF tent. As always, very energetic and fun. Today's time was spent learning the song " heads, shoulders, knees and toes," which was fun.
Followed by hopscotch. Took awhile to remember the rules, and we were grateful for a parent who helped us get there in the end. The photos I think speak for themselves.
the UNICEF volunteers also getting involved, but the kids were best!!

And then there is the English for slightly more than beginners class in the afternoon. Teaching English often brings many funny moments. One such moment has had me chuckling for most of the day. One of the main purposes of my class, is to encourage people to speak and learn new vocabulary. So one of the exercises is to divide the class into pairs and ask them to describe a recipe. How to make it, the ingredients, the weight. Today, two younger students  gave me a recipe for a sandwich!!!! Take two slices of bread.....it really was quite wonderful. You really can't make it up.
