On the road again...

...thanks to the wonderful mechanics at the garage in Ternopil, who identified the problem, found the right part quickly (not always easy for an old Ford transit in Ukraine) and fixed it. The garage is amazing and we only paid for parts. The labour was free.

So we were able also to load the van with really good aid from various sources: Wales, Austria etc.
My back is recovering, definitely getting better, but I'm still taking it slightly easier. So, unfortunately, Fiona had to do the bulk of the work, loading the van, which was packed full.

Whilst waiting for the van to be repaired, we took the opportunity to go for a swim with our host in the lake at Ternopil. It really was so refreshing and invigorating. Our host, Yaroslav, swam 4.8km.....I did 100 metres, tops. Fiona was much better.

At 5pm we were on the road again, on our journey back to Odesa.
