Parachute......

Many years ago, my first job as a community worker was working on a very deprived housing estate in Bradford. We used to run a summer playscheme, and one of the activities was the parachute play. It was always a lot of fun.

Today I was able to do this activity in the UNICEF tent in Odesa. Never in my wildest imagination would I have thought that, some 40+ years on from Bradford, I would have the privilege to be able to play parachute with children, who, for no reason of their own, have been forced from their homes due to the Russian invasion. Fiona seems to have enjoyed it too.

I hope the pictures can convey this brief interlude of enjoyment for these children.
