Men in Grey

These guys get the credit for filling a van full of vegetables and fruit, bought at the noisy, bustling wholesale market in Odesa, after the usual bartering, thanks to our translator, Larissa - top right in picture below.

The heavy lifting was done by our wonderfully charismatic "barrow boy," who has a look about him...

Our friend, Alex, who is spending a few days in Odesa, offered to help load the van, which he may have regretted on such a hot evening (29°C in the shade).

50% of this food aid was purchased with a donation from the Penparcau Hub in Aberystwyth, Wales, which also made a donation for incontinence diapers for adults, purchased earlier in the day. Donations from family and others also helped.

We'll take this really useful load to where it's needed tomorrow.

Thank you to all who helped.
