Small things help...

Today was about organising and getting the things I'm taking on the next aid run.
First of all, I had to collect the van from the Mitsubishi garage in Odesa, where it was having some work done on it. On collection, they wouldn't hear of me paying for the repair. What can you say, except amazing. Thanks to all concerned at the garage.

We buy our product items from a wholesale shop called Metro. The last time we were there doing a large shop, the manager approached and said that, in future, if he could be of help, just let him know and he would assist. And he gave me his card.
Today, I rang him and, true to his word, he was there, helping throughout the shop. Many thanks, Aleksandr and all at Metro.
Switch to the wholesale market in Odesa in the afternoon, where more than 1000 kilos of food was bought. Again, our van is stretching the amount of weight it can carry.

Many thanks to all that helped. Looking forward to being on the road, bright and early, tomorrow.
